This cookie policy explains how we use cookies and similar technologies on the site and forms part of our privacy policy. It is provided in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation, Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (the “GDPR”).
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies, such as local storage and session storage, work in comparable ways. They can be strictly necessary (required for the service to function) or non-essential (for example, analytics), and either session (cleared when you close your browser) or persistent (retained for a set period).
2. Legal basis
Under the ePrivacy Directive 2002/58/EC as implemented in your member state, read with the GDPR we rely on the necessity of processing to provide a service you request, and on our legitimate interests in operating and securing the site, for strictly necessary cookies. We rely on your consent for anything non-essential. No non-essential technology is set before you make a choice, and you may withdraw consent at any time, see clause 5.

We also use tab-scoped session storage for a session identifier and the last assistant intent, used to keep a single visit coherent. Session storage is cleared when you close the tab and is never sent to us as an event.
We do not use advertising cookies, we do not sell personal data, and we do not permit third-party cross-site tracking.
4. Analytics
With your consent we record aggregate, no-PII usage events through our own first-party endpoint. No third-party analytics vendor is loaded on this site. The events carry a page path with the query string removed, an opaque browser token, and the event name. They do not carry your IP address, your user agent, or any form content.
We honour Global Privacy Control. If your browser signals GPC, no analytics event is recorded even if a consent cookie is already present.
5. Managing your choices
- Use the data and AI controls in the site footer to grant or withdraw analytics consent at any time.
- Enable Global Privacy Control in your browser to refuse analytics without setting any preference here.
- You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of the site working, including sign-in.
6. Your rights (Articles 15 to 22 of the GDPR)
Subject to the GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict and port your personal data, to object to processing, and to withdraw consent. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority of the EU or EEA member state where you live, work, or where you believe the infringement took place (Article 77 of the GDPR).
